PULSE Ball 2010

Your excuse to dance all night long to the pulsating rhythm of the Samba is here; the theme for the 2010 PULSE Ball is Carnevale Di Rio!

It’s a black tie event, so grab your best frock or suit, and make like the King and Queen of the Carnevale with a splash of colour and get ready to dance the night away all in the name of medical research.

The PULSE Carnevale Di Rio Ball will be held at the Newcastle City Hall on Saturday, 21 August 2010 from 7pm.

Tickets are just $100 per person and include a sumptuous three course meal, Isobar wine and beer and to help you dance the night away, Funky Monkey is returning for the second year running- thanks to EAO Entertainment.

The night will also feature the annual PULSE raffle with your chance to go in the draw to win one of our amazing prizes:

  • $2,000 travel voucher, donated by Jayes Travel;
  • $1,500 Good Guys Warners Bay voucher, donated by Good Guys Warners Bay;
  • $1,000 Isobar cocktail party, donated by Isobar; and
  • 12-month All Forum membership, donated by The Forum.

To add to the excitement, there will also be a silent auction with some fantastic items that will be sure to liven your senses.

TICKETS WILL SELL OUT so don't delay. Please note there is a maximum of 10 people per table, however individual and multiple tickets are available.

PULSE would also like to acknowledge and thank our event supporters, Isobar, Peach Advertising, Richard Bartlett Photography, Newcastle City Council, EAO Entertainment, and HMRI.

As with all PULSE events, proceeds will support early career medical and health researchers in the Hunter through HMRI.
