Research Seminars & Lectures
HMRI researchers organise and host many research seminars, workshops, conferences and presentations throughout the region.
These events allow our researchers to collaborate and share knowledge with other research groups, both within HMRI and further afield, and can also include public lectures where the community can learn more about research from experts in their area.

Translational Cancer Research Conference
Venue: Newcastle City Hall
The Translational Cancer Research Conference, hosted by HMRI will be held from 23 to 25 October 2013 in Newcastle, Australia.
The conference, the fourth in the series, usually attracts approximately 150 delegates including, professors, clinicians, scientists, state and local government officials and academic and research institute senior leaders.
As a premier event in the translational cancer research calendar, this Hunter New England-based Conference provides the perfect opportunity for multidisciplinary collaboration between clinical, scientific and public health researchers from around the world to join with their colleagues for 2.5 days of stimulating discussion, knowledge sharing and networking.
