You can help raise funds for research by making a donation in support of HMRI Singleton Foundation Chairman John Henderson’s four month, four-wheel-drive trip around Australia.
John set out on his “first ever camping trip” with long time friend and Deputy Chair of the Cure Cancer Australia Foundation Ian Dear earlier this month.
Together, they hope to raise funds and awareness for their respective charities.
“Our vehicle is adorned with the HMRI and Cure Cancer Australia Foundation logo, and they have proved a great talking point as we arrive in a new town or camping ground. We have already raised several hundred dollars because people appreciate that research is critical if we are to cure cancer.
Everyone has a story, and it’s a good way to get a conversation started,” John said.
Several hundred dollars have been collected along the way, to add to the $1000 already on their fundraising website.
